between 1992 and 2000.
We are both Accredited Childminders, this means that we are able to provide your child with the best start in life, we are recognised as providers of funded early education for 3 and 4 year olds, and have undertaken a range of childcare training and have regularly monitoring visits by the National Childminding Association Children Come First Network coordinator for your peace of mind.
We are experienced childcarers, with level 3 qualifications in Childminding Practice, as well as having training in Schema's, Special Needs, Social and Emotional Aspects of Development as well as Outdoor play and using the local environment.. We are also both qualified first aiders.
We are members of the New Forest Childminders, which is a local group which offers Professional Support and Play opportunities for the children and enables your child to access a variety of resources and unique opportunities, such as Trips to the Isle of Wight, Fire Engine visits and more. We also attend our local Surestart Children's Centres -the Phoenix Centre at New Milton and All Seasons Children's Centre in Pennington.
At Sunflowerkids, we can care for your child from when they are a baby right through to senior school age, providing that special continuity of care throughout their childhood, that your family will appreciate.
Our day starts early. We begin by providing before school care to some
children, to include breakfast if required, before taking them to school. After school, once collected, we offer a healthy snack to keep them going till home time..
During the school day the bith to fives, will have the opportunity to go out, whatever the weather, your child will become a regular visitor to Longdown Activity Farm, where they get to feed the animals, Moors Valley Country Park with its fabulous climbing structures, the beach and the New Forest, as well as the groups we attend to encourage social interaction.
In the school holidays the day is structured around the children whom are attending, and whether it is a trip to the local museum, a bbq in the New Forest and parachute games or a giant art attack, there is something for everyone. The younger and older children enjoying playing together in a family environment.
